Job Highlights

The USAP-Maryland team is comprised of more than 200 board-certified and board-eligible anesthesiologists and highly qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), many with advanced training in cardiac and pediatric anesthesia. We have a total of 9 hospitals and more than 50 surgery centers throughout the Baltimore/Washington DC area.

Holy Cross Hospital is a 449-bed, not-for-profit facility that cares for more than 36,000 inpatients each year and is one of the largest hospitals in Maryland. In 2015, the largest expansion of Holy Cross Hospital in its history was completed, bringing the latest technology and the privacy, comfort and safety of private rooms to patients throughout the hospital. With the addition of 150 private patient rooms in critical care, intermediate care and medical-surgical units, Holy Cross Hospital joined Holy Cross Germantown Hospital as the only area hospitals to offer private rooms to all patients. The “green” design was recognized with Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) Gold certification.

Silver Spring is only 7 miles from Washington D.C. and has a population of roughly 79,000. Downtown Silver Spring has so much to offer from the Arts and Entertainment District to shopping and entertainment. You’ll be close to 3 airports and great public transportation. There are plenty of parks nearby such as Sligo Creek Park and Rock Creek Park. There are also plenty of community celebrations that take place in the Veteran’s Plaza and Civic Center. • All USAP Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist must meet state licensure requirements.

• CRNAs must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
