We have a tremendous opportunity with one of our premier divisions - the ACD Division at Methodist Dallas Medical Center (MDMC).

Methodist Dallas is a Level I trauma center in downtown Dallas. The practice is a collegial and collaborative environment
of physicians, CRNAs, and RRNAs working in an anesthesia care team model. Our impressive group of CRNAs enjoy a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, while knowing that support is available if the need arises. Our CRNAs and RRNAs provide anesthesia for a variety of cases including general surgery, trauma, kidney and pancreas transplantation, orthopedics, ENT, vascular, plastics, bariatric, GI, IR, urology, OB, EP, and some neurology and cardiac. CRNAs place their own epidurals, spinals, arterial lines, central lines and some peripheral nerve blocks. Whether fresh out of training or a seasoned veteran, MDMC challenges and develops the anesthetic skill set to the highest degree with the high acuity patient population it serves.

The MDMC CRNA group has a priority system to determine a go-home order with early out and late shifts spread out evenly amongst the group. Currently night and weekend shifts are mostly covered by individuals who prefer to work those shifts, however occasional weekend shifts may be needed every other month to every 3 months depending on scheduling. Call responsibility is weekends only and consists of back-up call from home on Saturday 7-5 and Sunday 7-3 once every 6-8 weeks. You will receive additional incentive pay for these call shifts as well as early relief or an off day the following Monday. There is opportunity for set shift scheduling for those interested.

Job Highlights

MDMC is nestled in the Kessler Park area, which is just minutes across the Trinity River from downtown Dallas. This vibrant area boasts two major entertainment areas – Bishop Arts District and Trinity Groves, as well as easy access to the entertainment areas and sporting events in downtown Dallas and Arlington. Housing unit construction is booming in the immediate area in anticipation of the completion of the Harold Simmons Park along the Trinity River.

With a current population of 1.3 million, the city of Dallas is the largest urban center of the 4th most populous metropolitan area in the United States.  The city is known for it's cultural activities, restaurants, shopping, professional sports teams, night-life, parks, and museums!  With one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation, it is well known that there are a ton of jobs for everyone.  There are also 2 major airports in Dallas: Dallas Love Field and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport that will get you anywhere you need across the globe!

Qualifications

  • All USAP Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist must meet state licensure requirements.
