    Work at Kingwood Medical Center! We are seeking full-time Anesthesiologist Assistants to work on our Anesthesia Care Team at Kingwood Medical Center. Kingwood Medical Center is located in the beautiful wooded Kingwood suburb, about 25 minutes northeast of Downtown Houston, TX. Kingwood is a family friendly community with excellent public schools, beautiful parks and Lake Houston in the vicinity. 15 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport and easy access to Downtown Houston! 


    Keep your skills sharp with a wide variety of cases including vascular, thoracic, bread & butter, some pediatric, OB, ortho, gyn, general surgery, and some neuro.

     

    Enjoy both flexibility and stability at this dynamic 360-bed acute care hospital. Multiple shifts available including 8s, 10s, and 13s. Call is not required, and premium time is available daily to allow for unlimited earning potential. Base salary includes regularly scheduled 40-hours/week, with any additional work being paid at a premium rate in addition to your salary.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

     

    Collaborate with the operating room staff, surgeons and Anesthesiologist to exceed patient expectations and quality of care standards. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with surgeons and the surgical support team, as well as with patients and their families.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree with a pre-medical background
    • Masters Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
    • Complies with all American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants guidelines
    • Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limites required by the institution or state.
