Pain Doctor, in partnership with USAP, is seeking a full-time NP or PA to join our growing Northeast Houston practice. Essential Functions:

  • History and Physical Examination: conduct patient interviews, order and interpret diagnostic test results, make diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of pain, prescribe therapy and/or medication, perform therapeutic procedures including injections and wound care, instruct and counsel patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens
  • Administrative: provide accurate and thorough documentation of office visit in a timely manner, address messages regarding patient complications
  • Leadership: oversee/coordinate appropriate duties of non-licensed clinical staff, participate in clinical education opportunities, serve as preceptor to new hires
  • Compliance: maintain licensing and prescribing duties, practice in a safe and compliant manner in accordance to practice policies and protocols as well as state/national regulatory licensing agency


EDUCATION: BA/BS, MS preferred. Graduate of AMA/CCNE accredited nurse practitioner program.

REQUIREMENTS: Current Texas NP license.
