Overview

Full-time CRNA needed at Houston Methodist Hospital due to large expansion of ORs. Houston Methodist Hospital is located in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center, just outside of Downtown Houston. This dynamic facility has impressive volume and variety of cases, with 50-60 anesthetic locations a day covering most types of cases except trauma and CV. Methodist is a tertriary referral center, so you'll get to handle interesting and complicated cases that you might not get elsewhere!

 

Enjoy both flexibility and stability at one of the top-ranked hospitals in Texas. 10, 12, or 13 hour shifts available. Call is not required but it is available, along with overtime, to allow for unlimited earning potential. Base salary includes regularly scheduled 40-hours/week, with any additional work being paid at a premium rate in addition to your salary.

 

Option for a 48-hour contracts with base compensation starting at $168,100.00 for new graduates and up to $183,100.00 for experienced providers, before including call and OT!

Qualifications

  1. Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Texas, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing.
  2. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. (Students are welcome to apply-acceptable to be in certification process)
  3. Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification eligibility, initial certification, or recertification:
    a.  Meets criteria 1 and 2 above, and is awaiting initial certification (some states limit this period of time); or
    b.  Is currently certified by the Council on Certification of Nurses Anesthetists or its predecessor; or 
    c.  Is currently recertified by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
  4. Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.
  5. Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities for which the candidate is applying.
