Responsibilities

We are actively recruiting CRNAs to join our growing practice. US Anesthesia Partners - Florida is an Orlando based practice consisting of over 100 anesthesiologists and over 170 CRNAs.  We serve at Florida Hospital locations throughout Central Florida including Orlando, Kissimmee, Celebration, Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, East Orlando and Orange City.

 

We provide a breadth of clinical experience and sub-specialty anesthesiology care from complex cardiothoracic and transplant procedures to cutting-edge neurosurgery, complex pediatric cases, premier orthopedic care for sports medicine and joint replacement, and over 8,000 annual labor and delivery procedures. The diversity of these services at numerous locations throughout the area meets the needs of the community and creates a stimulating caseload for our providers. We are proudly committed to being Florida Hospital’s exclusive anesthesia provider in all of their Central Florida locations. Florida Hospital is one of the largest non-profit hospital systems in the nation, as well as one of the largest employers in the Orlando area with over 12,000 employees. We are also entrusted with a growing number of outpatient surgical facilities. This growth has furthered our need for skilled providers, a situation which will extend into the foreseeable future.

Qualifications

  1. Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Florida, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning advanced practice registered nursing.
  2. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. (Students are welcome to apply-acceptable to be in certification process)
  3. Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification eligibility, initial certification, or recertification:
    a.  Meets criteria 1 and 2 above, and is awaiting initial certification (some states limit this period of time); or
    b.  Is currently certified by the Council on Certification of Nurses Anesthetists or its predecessor; or 
    c.  Is currently recertified by the Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
  4. Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution or state.
  5. Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities for which the candidate is applying.
