We are actively recruiting a full time Anesthesiologist for a growing and well-respected practice in Pueblo, CO. We have an exclusive service agreement with St. Mary-Corwin Hospital (Commonspirit) and work extensively with hospitals and surgery centers in southern Colorado. St. Mary-Corwin, a 42 bed level 3 trauma center, focuses on cancer care and orthopedic services and provides high-quality, high-value health care for the region.

 

USAP Colorado offers an equitable highly competitive compensation plan. The estimated starting compensation for the position is $500k and offers these additional benefits:

- Choose up to 12 weeks of vacation
- Medical/dental/FSA/HSA
- 401k match + quarterly profit-sharing

- Medical malpractice including tail insurance

- $50k sign on bonus or the option to do a $20k sign-on bonus and $30k in loan repayment

Pueblo is located at the base of the Rocky Mountains, 112 miles (180 km) south of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. The area is known for endless outdoor activities and over 300 days of sunshine each year. The Historic Arkansas River Project (HARP) is a riverwalk in the Union Avenue Historic Commercial District that has become a popular tourist destination. While the city is much smaller than Denver and Colorado Springs, it is growing and has many of the same amenities you would find in larger metro areas. It is also one of the most affordable places to lives in Colorado as well!

 

Qualifications

  • All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology. 
  • Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
